Phobia for fire

Nature is the strongest power in this world and there are natural rudiments and people think they can control those, but indeed they can’t, there is no way for people to make wind stop blowing or to make flood be gone or something. And I think deep inside of us we feel the danger and we have fears for those rudiments and sometimes those fears develop into phobias and this is the worst thing. There are people who have phobia for fire. They are always afraid that there will be a fire in case they forget to blow the candle or they will light a cigarette or something. I say it is okay to be careful with fire because indeed it is a great power, though it is wrong to be possessed with an idea of fire, but, there is no point and no need in talking about it. There is no point because phobia is a mental disease and it should be cured, and there is no another way for a person to get feel better. People that have phobias for fire are usually people that avoid fire in their lives. They never have barbeques and they never have dinners with candles and so on and so forth, but, there is no such phobia that worth warmth of fire.

Fear for situation

There are people who are afraid of certain situations and it is a phobia they have. Actually it is the most interesting and frightening kind of phobia because as a rule they are people who afraid of common things like crossing a street or talking or something. Once I saw a guy who spent a great amount of time waiting for crossing the street and he managed to do that only after a half an hour passed. That is a phobia and that guy should really get rid of it because I believe that he is a guy who always late and it is not good. People are afraid of situation and the funny thing is they are afraid of situation that may never happen or that are common situations. Like there are people who are afraid of losing their consciousness when at public place. Why on earth would one lose its consciousness just like that? May be just because of fear for lose the consciousness. There is nothing wrong to be afraid of something, but t is wrong to let that fear to control your life. That is why those who suffer with phobias should ask for help and get rid of it.

Should Phobias Be Treated?

Those with severe phobias might wonder, now and then, if they are crazy, or if there is something wrong with them for having these intense and unreasonable fears. Phobias may often be classified as a form of mental illness, but these days, nearly every sort of behavior could be considered a form of mental illness. As long as somebody can profit from it. Phobias are a type of anxiety disorder which can be fairly disruptive for some, while others with phobias may live lives nearly unaffected by their fears. Those who feel that phobias are preventing them from living as they would like to may look for help to overcome their phobias and live their lives with greater peace of mind. Many phobias, though not all, revolve around dangers that the individual may construe as life threatening in some way. Fear of spiders, heights, or water can fit into this category. While the fear may be in some way natural, phobias take these fears to another level. Phobias involve an entirely irrational and excessive response to a trigger which may cause the individual to panic completely. There are different forms of treatment for phobias. Cognitive behavioral therapy is where those who suffer from phobias are made to confront their fears in controlled situations with the guide of a therapist. Some medications may be used to treat extreme phobias, and others recommend hypnotherapy. Phobias are exaggerated fears which sometimes can go to such a level that they interfere with a person’s ability to function normally. In these cases, there are treatments for phobias which can help out.

Water Phobias

Phobias that are connected to water are terrifying for the sufferer. There are treatment options for such phobias, although you don’t have to opt for any treatment. Some people who are terrified of the water choose simply to stay away from the water. However, there are those who choose to face their phobias, learn to swim, and even eventually engage in water sports for fun. Imagine getting clear of a water phobia enough to engage in windsurfing or water skiing.

Water phobias are serious and no one with one should ever be forced into the water against their will. The idea that someone can be cured by chucking them forcefully into the waves is actually cruel and does not help the phobia sufferer feel as though they are in control of their fears. Only when a phobia sufferer feels they can conquer their own fear can they start to move past their phobias. It really is that simple.

Phobias are not unrealistic to the person who suffers from them and thus ridicule is also not exactly and effective management tool. Especially when the phobia sufferer is a child ridicule actually makes the problem worse and can be part of the sufferers resistance toward moving past their fears. Phobias are real and are reserved for serious treatment. Creating additional fear, forcing a water phobia sufferer into the water, and ridiculing and shaming the sufferer are simple ways that you can make the problem worse. Allowing the water phobia sufferer to take control of their own fear is a good tool for helping them overcome their fear. This makes it a pretty obvious choice.
